Billie Eilish's Happier Than Ever era has brought with hit an epic album, some great music videos, and a new look. Recently, the singer has been ditching the baggy clothes she was previously known for and instead opting for more tighter fitting garb. Billie seems to be very happy with the switch up, but unfortunately, some of her fans aren't as pleased. In classic Billie fashion, though, she doesn't seem to care what others think.
The singer was hosting a little Q&A on Instagram about her new album when someone wrote in about her new look. "No more plain boring outfits [we're] so f*cking tired..what happened to you," a follower (rudely) wrote.
Of course, Billie didn't miss a beat. "What you want this again?" she asked, sharing an old pic of herself in a blue baggy Gucci set with matching blue hair. The 19-year-old topped of the response with a skull emoji.
Billie is constantly having to defend her style and choice of clothes. She recently spoke to British Vogue about her evolving style and her decision to wear more form-fitting looks.
"My thing is that I can do whatever I want," she said. "It’s all about what makes you feel good. If you want to get surgery, go get surgery. If you want to wear a dress that somebody thinks that you look too big wearing, f*ck it—if you feel like you look good, you look good."
She continued, "Suddenly you’re a hypocrite if you want to show your skin, and you’re easy and you’re a slut and you’re a whore," she said. "If I am, then I’m proud. Me and all the girls are hoes, and f*ck it, y’know? Let’s turn it around and be empowered in that. Showing your body and showing your skin—or not—should not take any respect away from you."
Preach Billie! When will people learn to just let this woman live and wear what she wants?
